Stop Looking: Just See, Just Hear …
We look for something interesting to occupy us. The moment we become attached to the noise or the scrolling, we’ve lost contact with reality. We’re trapped in a fiction, never notice we are ignoring that which is seeing.
If we ask someone, “Are you aware?” they’ll say yes. But are they? They are aware of what is happening out there – and talk about it – but don’t notice consciousness. It’s only when consciousness is aware of being conscious that we are free.
Pure seeing, without labels, excitement or social grooming, is our original state. Everything else is an illusion.
