Preserving Inner Peace
It’s so easy to be thrown off course through the display of others. Whether that display is a result of their anger, judgement, bragging or emotional chaos, this shows that our ego is fragile.
When we let external behaviour dictate our internal state, we essentially hand our reality over to others. What people say and do is a projection of their own internal reality, wounds, and stress levels. It’s not about us.
We don’t need to correct every misconception or win every argument. True emotional freedom is choosing peace over proving a point. Recognise what we can preside over – and that is our mind.
We can’t control how others act,
but we can have absolute ownership over how we choose to respond.
Inner peace is our sanctuary – and our sanity.
