To Write Or Not To Write?
The Dharma is sort of a secret.
If the Dharma is expounded to those who aren’t ready, it can cause them to to descend into the lower realms of gain and fame.
But to deny the Dharma to those who are ready also causes problems for the expounder. By withholding it from them, the practitioner breaks the Bodhisattva vow of compassion, stagnating the growth of a genuine seeker.
That is why this blog is not advertised – people find it through their own enquiry.
The problem for the world is that the Dharma is offered online for everyone by charismatic individuals who use their partial knowledge for fame and gain. This creates scepticism and division.
Not only this, but Mara worshippers (demonic minds who chase after fame and gain use this knowledge to suppress and manipulate others. Once someone knows the laws of attraction and repulsion they can be used to the detriment of humanity’s wellbeing.
It’s strange to say that truth causes problems.
I write because of what I see in Dharma centres; too much conformity and not enough individual compassionate inspiration. And the last thing Mara wants is non-conformity.
One writes for the individual who looks around at the blank faces and feels alienated, doubting their own sanity.
