Why Go On About Happiness?
Unconditionally happy people cannot be demoralised.
When people realise what true happiness is, they are unpredictably inspired. This is the ultimate protection from any system of control; happy people can’t be governed. You can’t bribe someone who already has enough. You can’t scare someone who doesn’t fear losing status. When people find happiness in self-mastery, the economic and psychological ploys used to control them drop away.
We all feel pressure to conform, but conformity is our cage, requiring predictable inputs and outputs. On the other hand, inspiration is a chaotic creative spark which produces an alternative system that no central planner could ever anticipate or replicate.
Subjugation is the aim of conformity. Attempts to force societies into submission can be traced through empires of faith, money and might – the centres of control which cause certain individuals look inward. And so the subjugators come up with new wordings and we go through the deception all over again. 🙂
The ultimate way to subjugate subjugation isn’t to build a bigger army or a rival empire. It is to withdraw our attention, stop reading garbage, find true happiness and become unpredictably inspired.
That is how the illusory cage dissolves.
