Our Life Is The Result Of Our Past Decisions
Our decisions are the result of our environment which gives rise to our desires and aversions – our likes and dislikes, and that which we don’t care about.
It’s harsh to realise that the purpose of life is to tidy ourselves up, and change the direction in which we are going. And if we’ve changed direction, to refine it.
This is not about blaming our past; it is about our capacity to look at our thoughts and ask if they are actually true, or just inherited.
When we decide to change direction, we must be aware of the momentum of our past choices. This requires taking absolute ownership of our life right now, accepting that while we may not be responsible for our conditioning, we are entirely responsible for our healing – and our next step.
