The Antidote To Not Knowing Is Knowing
If we ask people about knowing, they’ll say, “I know this, and I know that.” This is the collective trap of samsara. People talk about things they’ve learnt, but this is not knowingness. The faculty to know is consciousness itself.
To just know, consciousness must be untainted which is the very simple practice of just seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling, touching without comment.
Our problem is having pride in whatever we think we know as that limits pure knowingness. We make life far too complex for our own good.
Meditation is recognising the presence of knowingness. In post meditation, we then become mindful of everything we do and say, thus remaining in the continuity of the practice.
When we know what we are rather than what we’re supposed to be, we are no longer an impression, a mould, an imitation.
In the moment of knowingness,
we know nothing.
