THE MORE WE REALISE, THE MORE EVERYONE IS STRANGE

The More We Realise, The More Everyone Is Strange

The closer we look at humanity, the ‘normal’ dissolves into an illusion. The more we realise how misguided people are, the more we understand how everyone is strange.

When we look past the surface level of daily life, we realise that most of us are merely functioning at a consumer level. Just look at all forms of entertainment offered by the media which dictate what people talk about.

We are enlightened beings being fooled. Who talks about consciousness? We talk about other names for consciousness which make it sound mysterious and other worldly – and more entertaining. And that’s how we miss the point.

Once we realise that we are, in essence, pure consciousness, life is totally different. We accept information with a dose of doubt and a pinch of salt because we realise that the source might be exaggerated or mistaken, or may be sharing unverified information.

We should be spiritual engineers, taking the mind apart and understanding how it works (or doesn’t πŸ™‚ ).

This is why everyone is our teacher, reminding us that although we are all Buddha nature, we’re also deluded.
