Genuinely Seeking Truth

Joining a spiritual tradition and being given pre-packaged answers is neither the path nor the truth.

Genuine truth is experienced through individual questioning and dissatisfaction. We test the teaching in every encounter, seeing how our mind works and realising the truth about compassion, which is understanding how others’ minds work.

Throughout life, we meet some very strange people, only to discover that everyone is strange. 🙂 The recognition that our mind is also contaminated is where the teaching is; it’s never out there in a temple or on a throne.
