SPIRITUALITY ISN’T A PERFORMANCE

Spirituality Isn’t A Performance

Spirituality is consciousness realising the workings and machinations of the mind. Consciousness does nothing but observe; it is the observation that is ever-present.

(The word ‘machination’ comes from the Latin machinari with the root machina – machine – meaning to contrive or devise artfully. A machination is a complex, secret plan usually devised with sinister, underhanded, or evil intentions to gain power, and control).

Consciousness is mesmerised by performance; through our daily interactions, our mind is contrived into believing whatever we see.

The purpose of life is being aware of this machine at work lest we become part of it.

Ideas entertain consciousness (our true being)
through the well-rehearsed prancing ponies in our mind.

We watch, never realising what is watching.
