The State Of Our Mind
Whatever we fill our minds with affects the way in which we live our life and how we interact. The essence of mind is pure consciousness; it’s the clarity, confidence and inner peace of our natural state.
But when we look around us, we see nothing but anxiety and agitation which leads to conflict. In other words, suffering, covered up by lethargic tittle-tattle. This is our collective cage or dungeon.
People often say, “I am my mind”. What they are actually saying is, “I am what has influenced me.”
Compassion is the wisdom of understanding the phrase, “for they know not what they do” – or say. 🙂
