Seeking Non-Duality Is Duality
Seeking non-duality is duality.
Non-duality has no charisma;
there is nothing to follow.
When the mind treats non-duality as a destination or an experience to achieve, it creates a split: the seeker here, and non-duality over there. That is the definition of duality.
The moment we look for it, we imply that it is missing. But if reality is truly undivided,
there is nowhere to go to find it, and no one separate to attain it.
The search itself is what obscures the obvious.
The mind craves the charismatic because the ego wants to be inspired, entertained and rewarded. Non-duality offers no such exotic states. It is completely ordinary, simply reality, as it is before the mind labels it.
A path requires a starting point and a finish line.
Because non-duality is the lack of separation right now, there is no map and no leader to follow.
To say “There is nothing to follow” is not a dismissive statement of failure; it is final liberation from the spiritual marketplace. When the exhaustion of looking finally collapses, only what is remains.
How does this realisation leave you feeling?
Are you finding peace in the emptiness of the search,
or does the lack of a path feel disorientating?
The answer is both!
Non-duality is the experience of indescribable pure consciousness.
