The Reason We Are Not Enlightened
– we miss the obvious
When awareness is obsessed,
the view of pure awareness is clouded.
It misses the obvious – its self.
This pure awareness is empty essence.
When awareness relaxes,
so does obsession,
which dissolves into empty essence.
Of course, there will be a residue of obsession, as it created a trauma in the subtle body; we just have to learn to live with that. Gradually, with the practice of relaxing, a grounded feeling ensues.
The reason I am not enlightened is that I have strong memories of traumas in my subtle body. For some reason, I always feel in the wrong – a karmic feeling left over from being told, “You’re very naughty boy!” when I was young; in those days, one had to behave oneself in front of company to satisfy other people’s expectations (which I never understood – and still don’t…!). I always thought, “Who are we trying to impress?” 😉
Now and again, for no apparent reason, it all drops away…thank goodness!
These insane psychopaths must be stopped by use of force !
Mind Control Researchers Create Fake Link Between Unrelated Memories

Advancements in genetics and neuroscience are undoubtedly leading toward direct methods of mind control, albeit only with good intentions … if government and establishment science can be believed. However, an array of hi-tech methods have been announced which show clear potential for negative manipulation.
Bold claims have been made by scientists that they now can use “neural dust,” high-powered lasers, and light beamed from outside the skull to alter brain function and even turn off consciousness altogether.
But it is memory research that might be among the most troubling.
As I’ve previously suggested in other articles, our memories help us form our identity: who we are relative to where we have been. Positive or negative lessons from the past can be integrated into our present decisions, thus enabling us to form sound strategies and behaviors that can aid us in our quest for personal evolution. What if we never knew what memories were real or false? What if our entire narrative was changed by having our life’s events restructured? Or what if there were memories that were traumatic enough to be buried as a mechanism of sanity preservation, only to be brought back to us in a lab?
Research has commenced into many facets of how memory can be restructured, whether it is erasing memories, the implantation of false memories, or triggering memories of fear when none previously existed. http://www.activistpost.com/2015/04/mind-control-researchers-create-fake.html
Hello Tony – and Happy Easter! ”
…”For some reason, I always feel in the wrong – a karmic feeling left over from being told, “You’re very naughty boy!” …
Made me think of the old joke: if a man is alone in a forest without a woman within earshot, is he still wrong? 😉 😉
I think the concept of subtle trauma is fascinating, and it’s something that should have a much higher profile in everyday life. If people really took the time to understand that their reactions are often caused by damage – however seemingly trivial – left by past experiences, they may find it easier to modify their behaviour as they can see it’s merely a reaction to a wound being opened again.
For example, my parents – who were wonderful – never argued. We never had conflict or explosive emotional interactions in my family. But if I did something that upset them, they would (I think, subconsciously) withdraw from me slightly. And as a result, I note that if someone is distant with me, for whatever reason, that arouses anxiety within me because of that subtle trauma.

Dear Daisy,
This is exactly why we need to be empathetic and compassionate. But it is challenging all the same.
