Is Meditation Enough?
Through meditation, we (pure consciousness) clear the mind so that we can see without bias, and know what we are. Once we’re able to see with clarity, we realise what is happening in our mind, and the world around us.
We know about ear worms – catchy, repetitive pieces of music or sound that play uncontrollably on a loop in a person’s mind. Well, the same thing happens with words and phrases we read and hear. Even the Buddha’s words can become earworms that we just repeat, without actual experience.
These words and phrases become part of us. We may think it’s good to memorise so that we can recall information, but we don’t realise that we’ve created another loop. That’s the little trap.
When we can start to read our own psychology, we can see what’s happened to others. It’s a shock.
Clarity means divine splendour.
It’s that important.
Clarity, in its original and deepest sense, transcends mere understanding, and signifies divine splendour, radiance, and glory.
This profound clarity is not just mental sharpness,
but an inner light which reveals the truth.
