NO RE-ACTION; NO KARMA

No Re-action; No Karma Is Produced

That is the crux, and the decisive, most important point.

Any thought or situation is a product of the past. It is karmically produced.
It is not producing karma.

Even though an action or thought comes to mind, it is still a product of the past. If one re-acts to a situation then karma is produced, and the cycle continues – our biased behaviour recycles. Even though emotions appear in the mind, one should not feel guilty, remembering that they are a product of the past.

No reaction – no karma.

So a residue or echo can be experienced, but if this is recognised as such, there is no clinging. This is the point of inner silence, clarity and wisdom. The karmic load is being emptied, purified.

This is the work.

Being told, “You are clinging”, creates a disturbance and a feeling of guilt in the mind; there is no way out, and we feel trapped in fear. If there is no leaning towards or away, and no indifference, then that is the natural state of being. Just leave it alone. That is meditation. Clarity is meditation.

The real test is in our personal relationships.
😉

You can’t change people; you can only change yourself, your habit*.
🙂

*habit: from Latin habitus ‘condition, appearance’

THE PANDEMIC BUSINESS MODEL

The Pandemic Business Model

Pandemic: affecting the entire world.

Things do not just happen. Elements must be brought together and orchestrated, with situations being planned and coordinated to produce a desired effect, especially surreptitiously. By whom?
By nature, and by those who manipulate nature, which reacts to being manipulated. We are nature and have already been manipulated to believe, affecting our wellbeing and behaviour.

This business model is ancient and massive,
but goes unnoticed by the majority
who play their parts unwittingly.

The more people believe or accept something, the more the world is controlled by dividing people. It is division that causes chaos and confusion, resulting in fear and panic. Not everyone believes a story, and that is how we are separated. If something was obviously true, we would all agree, but we are too occupied with the views we have acquired from others to recognise what unites us.

First, we believed in religion, and then science, technology, the media, all preparing us for what comes next. If we are satisfied with the cock-up theory, we aren’t looking; we are assuming.

When we recognise the cycle of events that each have different names but the same effect, then we understand and can be mentally prepared. This is using our natural wisdom that, for most has “given up the ghost”.

If someone gives up the ghost, they stop trying to do something because they no longer believe they can do it successfully. If a machine gives up the ghost, it stops working.

There is only one thing we can all agree on, and that is that we are aware. Not aware of some thing and judging it, but purely aware. Most do not notice this moment, and go straight to being aware through tainted memories.

Rarely are people just purely aware, realising they are only pure awareness; pure consciousness cannot be controlled, but only distracted by beliefs.

IN FACT, DON’T MEDITATE

In Fact, Don’t Meditate

Sitting down to meditate is enough meditation.
We made the decision.

Now, just be aware that awareness is what you are.
In fact, don’t meditate.

Allow the eyes to be open so that everything can enter at once.
Don’t go looking; just see, just be aware, and drop any attachment.

The essence of mind – pure awareness – allows everything to enter
but doesn’t follow.
The essence of mind is now fully aware, and in suspended animation.

Don’t make meditation into something special.
Pure awareness is spontaneously present, all the time.

In fact, it’s timeless.

TOO MUCH TALK

Too Much Talk

And yes, too much write!

A hypnotist talks to distract the audience, so be aware of those who talk too much, as they are drawing your attention away.

When we follow others’ thoughts, even a Buddha’s, we live in a duality of entertainment, of being occupied, mostly by the past and the future. When the Buddha said, “Do not take my words for the truth …” he was saying, don’t follow thoughts as you’ll become hypnotised. That’s what happens in meditation.

Hypnosis is a dream-like state, half aware. Watching TV or films does that, with invasive advertisements piggybacking onto this dream-like effect, planting a hidden agenda in the mind. Have you noticed how every family in every advert is now is multicultural?! The hidden effect is that you are supposed to notice this, which creates a subtle reaction.

When we stop following thoughts and being entertained, we start understanding what is happening in our mind, and no longer need to ask, “Do I know?” We know.

When we know, we don’t have to talk.

If we ask someone, they will tell you their version,
and it may not be complete.

Tibetan Buddhism is wonderful in its wisdom, display and reminders,
but it is also maintaining its culture.

We have to make up our own mind
in the way that our mind is made up.

THIS CONSTANT FIRST MOMENT

This Constant First Moment

This constant first moment of awareness is precisely what we are. We can’t be anything else. As we progress, this truth becomes more and more obvious, without any doubts. It is the most important aspect of life, and comes before any idea or feeling of self. It is pure awareness and, in essence, is complete.

Life is now duty – repairing, balancing, caring, resting in equilibrium (more or less :-)) It is remaining calm while turmoil is all around. It’s like being a nobody, but fully aware.

A GOOD PLACE TO BE

A Good Place To Be

Being concerned about something and not having our head in the sand is a good place to be. We don’t give in to misguided assumptions. So much fearmongering is like crying wolf too often – people will ignore the next claim. This obsession with fears over health for both humanity and the planet only serves to awaken more and more people from being manipulated (with much money changing hands).

Nature has a wonderful way of adapting.
The body and the planet have natural immunity,
and nothing lasts forever anyway.

But if we are immersed in conjecture – an opinion or conclusion formed on the basis of incomplete information – our worries will be constantly nourished, and evil minds feed off this.

A good place to be is knowing our own mind,
rather than whatever is put in it by fearmongers.

Fearmongers come in many uniforms,
and hold to the same narrative.

ARE THERE THOSE WHO ARE BEYOND KARMA?

Are There Those Who Are Beyond Karma?

There are some who imagine they are beyond karma as they think they have all the wealth and power. They are deluded.

Only the enlightened are beyond karma as they have exhausted all obscurations in the mind. As long as people believe they have something to hold on to, they will suffer.

THE WORLD IS NOT WHAT IT SEEMS

The World Is Not What It Seems

The universe is infinite and timeless, with infinite sentient beings crisscrossing back and forth repeatedly, seeking peace and rest but not finding it due to their karma – the results of mistaken views about reality.

Sentience: being capable of sensing or feeling; and thereby judging, thinking, collecting and reacting.

Sentience is consciousness.
That is what we are – seekers.

The peace and rest we seek is nowhere but consciousness itself, when we finally realise we are pure consciousness, rather than this body and tormented mind. In thinking that the life we lead is normal, we are deluded.

If there is evil in the universe, it is the denial that we are pure consciousness. What else can evil be? Evil wants us to believe anything but our true reality. That is how it has infiltrated our minds.

Evil wants to gain our trust, thus maintaining a grip on humanity through deception, making us do and think things that are against our wellbeing. We read about this every day and it goes unnoticed because we ignore and so remain indifferent as it make no difference to us. When we no longer just believe or accept whatever we are told, we are free.

Once we realise that we are pure consciousness, we are finders.
Finders keepers!

That relief of arriving is happiness.
Being compos mentis
is consciousness having complete control of our mind.

DIFFICULTY WITH DEVOTION

Difficulty With Devotion?

They say that devotion is the fastest path, but what does that mean? Devotion to what? In the way this display is handed down to us? Although we’d like to feel devoted, there comes a time when, for some of us, this becomes an obstacle.

When I was younger, I was in awe of teachers because they seemed to know so much, but when I came to realise what was said, I wasn’t so dependent. It’s the same with any subject.

Still, saying this, the path (the elimination of confusion) to enlightenment is precious.

Devotion means to consecrate – dedicated, devoted as sacred.
Are we devoted to the teacher or the teaching? To form or essence?

There comes a time when we have to let go of duality.

KNOW MEDITATION, KNOW INNER PEACE

Know Meditation, Know Inner Peace

Know meditation, know inner peace.
No meditation, no inner peace.

There is always something to worry about or be irritated by. This is why sitting in silent inner awareness is so necessary. We can do it at any time, any where. It unwinds us and recharges our subtle energy – we feel brighter and ready!

In this obviously confused world, inner peace stops us becoming irritable and angry at what others say or do.

Meditation un-confuses us, as we become familiar with looking behind the scene that caused confusion in our own mind. What is behind our confusion is also behind everyone else’s and limits our view of life. This confusion is consciousness identifying with an imitation-self imprinted in the mind.

Inner peace is clarity,
and clarity is divine splendour.

WE HAVE TO WAKE UP AND REALISE

We Have To Wake Up And Realise

We can only address a problem when we wake up to it and realise that it’s there, and what it’s doing to us. We cannot become a recovering alcoholic until we realise that we are an alcoholic, and then we can do something about it.

We have to wake up and understand that we are walking around in a hoax, an illusion of what life is about. Life is about waking up to our true reality, which is pure consciousness, and the ramifications of this are enormous – enlightening, in fact. ? It is only then that everything about the hoax makes sense, and we see that it is constantly being adapted to confuse people.

As long as we only believe,
we will remain confused.

Belief is not knowing.
Knowing is waking up.

WORDS ARE ONLY AN ACCOUNT OF THE TRUTH

Words Are Only An Account Of The Truth

Words are only an account of the truth;
they are not the truth itself.

If we become hung up on words, we sound empty of empathy.
Words are a reflection in the mind-mirror of pure perception.
The truth is an individual’s realisation of pure perception.

The understanding of words differs, and that is why there are many traditions – and many conflicts.

If the Buddha said, “Do not take my word for the truth; test it for yourself”, he knew that, in clinging to words, we obscure direct experience, and repeating learnt words is just an imitation, a self-aggrandisement to enhance reputation.

Words need verifying and putting into context eg taking into account another’s background, otherwise we merely become literalists without empathy. Words have levels of meaning due to actual experience, and this why it’s easy for us to talk at cross purposes, and unfortunately, become enemies.

It is so sad that words divide us. In the end, we can only generalise, and purify our motivations.

WHY DON’T WE GET ON WITH CERTAIN PEOPLE?

Why Don’t We Get On With Certain People?

Get on with: have a harmonious or friendly relationship.

When we sit with others we don’t know, we neither like or dislike them. It’s when we start to speak that memories and emotions come to the surface, causing immediate judgements and reactions that we obsess upon, fixing our bias.

This bias comes from our personal background, our programming. If our experience is limited, we are quick to judge. If our experiences are more expansive, we hold back to look behind whatever is being said.

This is where empathy and wisdom have to come to the fore, calling on a place that is beyond the usual constructs of the human mind, and where there are no expectations. We sometimes call this the ‘heart’, but it is, of course, pure consciousness.

Talking beyond the usual chit chat
is talking heart to heart, being honest about our feelings.

Mind to mind is intellectual.
Body to body is extra friendly, but can take an ugly turn.
😀

Silence to silence is the best,
it’s perfectly harmonious.

SPIRITUALITY IS PSYCHOLOGY

Spirituality Is Psychology

Psychology: the study of the human mind and its functions that affects behaviour.

Who is the psychologist?
Consciousness.

We are consciousness and, as such, the psychologist, although this is limited due to distracted awareness. Distraction is the reason why we function on a basic level; we chop wood, fetch water, eat, chat, sleep, chop wood … all due to believing that we are just a body which is made to function by a mind. The collection of memories in the mind that we call ‘I’, ‘me’, ‘self’, obscures our higher function.

Consciousness is the essence of mind, the live cognisant atmosphere, while thoughts and memories are abstracts in the mind; it is these which affect our behaviour. That’s how we function as ordinary sentient creatures.

Spirituality is simply consciousness
– the interior of silent awareness –
that is realised as pure knowingness.

THE ELEVENTH YEAR!

The Eleventh Year!

And only one message …

We are, in essence, pure consciousness.
Everything else is a distraction,
but these alluring, illusory distractions
– created by our karma –
are now identified as our path of confusion,
and our teacher that leads to enlightenment.

It is really that simple.

Now for the complicated bit:
be aware of sophistry:
the use of clever but false arguments, especially with the intention of deceiving.
🙂

WORDS ARE ONLY AN ACCOUNT OF THE TRUTH

Words Are Only An Account Of The Truth

Words are only an account of the truth
and not the truth itself.

Words are a reflection,
whereas the mirror is direct perception.

The understanding of words may differ;
that is why there are many traditions.

If the Buddha said, “Do not take my word for the truth; test it for yourself,” he realised that, in
clinging to words, experience will be distant rather than direct.

PURE INTENT

Pure Intent

Pure mind realises we are fortunate beings
who can understand why things happen.

Unfortunate beings fill this mind with ideas about others,
diverting pure mind from understanding why things happen.

Pure mind is pure intent, and isn’t the prerogative
of any particular individual or religion – it just is!

RIPPLES IN HUMANITY

Ripples In Humanity

Humanity is affected by ripples of hope/desire, fear/aversion and indifference/ignorance that create violent storms of disturbance in the atmosphere, with strong winds of concepts, giving rise to tumultuous reactions of uproar and controversy … ie my way is better than your way 🙂

Clarity is limited in this age of conflicting ideas.

All that is needed is a small wave of commonality, which is the natural reality of pure consciousness. Sentience now turns into a tsunami of enlightenment, and all conflict ceases.

BEING OVER-POSITIVE

Being Over-Positive

Over-positivity is an exaggerated state that results in the denial of the human emotions, stifling the ability to communicate, while hiding negative thoughts. We are merely projecting an illusion by engaging in trivia, or by creating an atmosphere of superiority.

The path to enlightenment starts with the recognition of suffering by being honest. Only then do we break out of an humdrum existence, and life becomes fruitful.

FOCUSING ON THE NEGATIVE

Focusing On The Negative

When we focus on the negative, it is we who become negative. Rather, focus on that which focuses on the negative things of life.

It’s foolish to think that we can change this corrupt world, but we can change our world. Becoming involved in insanity will just make us insane. This is why adepts live in solitude and only communicate with those who feel the same way – or try to.

Being positive is direct seeing,
remaining in the neutrality of pure awareness.
Telling the truth then becomes a revolutionary act. 🙂

Have an amazing, un-foolish happy new year.

WHAT IF REPTILIANS RULE THE EARTH?

What If Reptilians Rule The Earth?

What if reptilians rule the earth?
Has it affected our ability to traverse the path to enlightenment? No.
Do vajras and bells affect our ability to traverse the path to enlightenment? No.

Ideas manipulate our minds, but we can still practise by not filling our minds with speculation and beliefs. We are free by neither accepting nor rejecting; that is for believers.

When we are governed by fight, flight or freeze, we are governed by reptilian brain = desire, aversion and ignorance.

Fortunately, these same imprisoning aspects of mind are also wisdoms = emptiness, consciousness and compassion.

So it is reptilian brain that rules us,
but these imprisoning aspects can be transformed into enlightenment.

This why ‘evil’ can control most of the people most of the time,
but not all of the people all of the time.

Have a powerful and spiritually enthusiastic
New Year.

WE ARE DIVINE SPLENDOUR – SO WHAT?!

We Are Divine Splendour – So What?!

Divine splendour is pure consciousness.

“So what?
My life isn’t suddenly better.”

To dismiss this absolute truth means that it hasn’t been experienced, and we expect a fantasy to happen instead. Such a reaction isn’t unexpected as we have been lead to believe all sorts of stories … from the past.

Over time, we have collected some seriously self-obsessed behaviour because of these stories. This is our karmic load of an imagined reality clinging to vague ideas. We let go when we’re fed up with over-played, sentimental dramatics.

It is through the practice of clarity in meditation that the mind becomes clear and reveals itself as pure consciousness. This is the realisation of non-duality; mirror and reflection – what is seen and the seeing – are experienced as inseparable. Once we truly value this experience, we then become aware of the corruption in the mind that we thought was normal.

Funnily enough, this isn’t a bad thing. In fact, it’s splendid, as everything and everyone becomes a reminder that this mistaken view of life has no reality; it’s just a poor show of what we actually are.

It is isn’t easy to accept that most humans aren’t bothered about their true reality as they are too obsessed with living in stories and theories.

Don’t believe everything you are told.
We are so much more.

All we have to do is see for ourselves.

APPRECIATING CLARITY

Appreciating Clarity

Clarity is divine splendour = pure awareness.

In looking for divine splendour, we obscure it,
by misunderstanding clarity.

We don’t appreciate this because we exaggerate.

Imagine you have been denied sight for a very long time.
Suddenly, you can see.
That moment of relief of just seeing is glorious.

Inner light of pure consciousness has been obscured by thoughts.
Realising this inner light, every moment is splendid.

No exaggeration needed.

THE DICTIONARY IS OUR BIBLE

The Dictionary Is Our Bible

The dictionary is our bible:
it tells us all we need to know.

In the dictionary, the word clarity means divine splendour (be bright).

The opposite to clarity is obscurity, vagueness, blurriness, opacity, darkness.
When our mind is full of thoughts, memories and distractions, we are not seeing clearly.

Clarity: the quality of being coherent and intelligible, certain or definite; transparency or purity of being; easy to see or hear; sharpness.

A clear mind is pure consciousness.
A clear mind sees all obscurations.
That’s all we need to know on the path to enlightenment.

Why do we keep missing this?

CONTRARY TO THE NARRATIVE

Contrary To The Narrative

The narrative is the story in which we live, which is handed down to us to accept as normal. It’s a code, a script that controls our behaviour, even down to being a reactionary. It’s all part of the programme, where we constantly have things to disagree about. The narrative controls the dialogue in the prison of discontent.

The story is our karma: ours, our family’s, our tradition’s, our culture’s and our world’s. It’s the history we believe in and cling to. Can we escape these theatrics – this drama of emotions? No, but we can utilise them so that they no longer control us, and now serve as a guide to bring an end to discontentment, which is an illusion.

What is the difference between reality and fiction?
Fiction needs to be credible.

It’s that ‘credibility’ that traps us in hope and fear,
maintaining this vicious cycle of existence.

Being contrary to the narrative is breaking out!

OTHERS THINK THE OPPOSITE

Others Think The Opposite

We shouldn’t be surprised when others think the opposite to us as this is normal in a universe of opposites, with attraction and repulsion, along with indifference to our commonality. These three poisons obscure the inner light of clarity, and we find no inner peace.

Finding fault in others is the reason we create enemies – and so become an enemy ourself – rather than realising what we are in common – skilful empathy of the clear inner light of pure consciousness.

There are two approaches to realising ultimate truth:

One is that we follow A … B … C … while, with the other, we start with intuition and use A … B … C … to carry that intuition. The result is the same, but one is immediate.

In being something special, we are separated.
In silence of just being, we are the same.

PURE PERCEPTION IS ALWAYS RIGHT

Pure Perception Is Always Right

Our problem is how we/I/ego interpret whatever is perceived through the senses, which personalises our judgements, clouding the first moment of perception.

But this first moment of perception is a moment of pure clarity – divine splendour – and is always spontaneously present.

Don’t miss it.

Have an appreciative, sensuous day.
🙂

WE HAVE BEEN WARNED

We Have Been Warned

Throughout human history, we have been warned about the presence of evil, which creates a stew of confusion, harming beings mentally and physically by using fear or distraction. Evil works by subtle manipulation of our anxieties and desires, and if we are not looking, we’re already in the soup.

It turned Christmas (the birth of Jesus) into a commercial enterprise, creating expectations. Did he die on the cross so that we can shop? Evil has made us think this is normal.

As long as humanity is unenlightened, evil will not give a sucker an even chance; it will take and take, becoming richer, more powerful … and stupid! 😀

Stupid?
Evil doesn’t know how to stop itself.

The tell-tale signs are in our mind …
recognition wakes us up!

THE LEVELS OF EVIL BEHIND THE SCENES

The Levels Of Evil Behind The Scenes

Some are greedy for wealth, some crave power, and some feed off emotions, with the motivation being the excitement and addiction to the ‘sale’, the agreement, the gotcha! Behind the scenes, demonic mind employs wealth and power to whip up extreme emotions of hatred and euphoria in order to control sentient minds by getting them to agree and subscribe.

Fear is the obvious emotion to feed off, giving rise to the other emotion of hope, while both rely on the ignorance of people not knowing that they have one thing in common – pure consciousness. As a result, people cling to a one-sided point of view. It’s easily done, as our very desires work against us.

People cling religiously to ideas with a *fervour of intense feelings, without noticing that their mind has been hijacked from behind the scenes.

*Fervour: from Latin fervor to boil

Evil must have a element of truth to be believable, to be accepted, to be agreed upon.

This is all about our mental health,
and the distraction of consciousness through emotions.

Be aware of accepting make-believe stories.
Feel the boil!
It’s hell.
😀

When people find out what has been done to them, they will be very angry. This is why good mental health is important, by training the mind now to not react in the future.

SPONTANEITY IS ULTIMATE REALITY

Spontaneity Is Ultimate Reality

Spontaneity is the timeless moment of ultimate reality before we start recognising, judging and reacting, and where there are no expectations, just the presence of consciousness. This is wisdom, before we make a fool of ourselves with opinions, however valid those may be.

Spontaneity is pure being.
We can’t get much more wholesome (holy) than that.

Being spontaneous means we adapt to changes without feeling stressed or anxious – a “go with the flow” attitude, where we become less fixed and more flexible in all areas of life.

CHANGING OUR MIND

Changing Our Mind

This is something most of us cannot do,
as it means a change in attitude.

There comes a time when we feel bored or dissatisfied with the way we think. We get too grumpy about everything, and may even feel depressed about the way others think, constantly blaming them. This is good! We won’t want to change if everything is already ‘good’ for us.

Many people will admit that the world is crazy, but they won’t admit that they are crazy. It’s everyone else … 🙂

Do we have a peaceful, empathetic atmosphere about us?

Change comes when we notice someone who has this quality. Not that they’re clever, but that they have understanding and are content, and we think, “I want some of that!” 🙂 Our mind is bright enough to recognise if someone is putting on an act; we’re looking for something genuine.

Dharma is for those who feel the rawness of suffering.
It’s not a lifestyle change.

Changing our mind is dropping our mental attitude in order for spontaneity to arise, and we see afresh.

That is the change.

When we no longer assume or take things for granted,
not only our mind, but our universe has changed!

THERE IS AN ANSWER

There Is An Answer

However we look, there is only one answer to the question of ultimate truth.

Throughout history, humans have been given words about the truth of our reality, while we ignore what is looking.

The ultimate truth has nothing do to with the way we see, or the language we use; the ultimate truth does not lie in intelligent words.

It is in the seeing itself; the cause of our confusion is ignoring that which is looking.

Words are the form.
Essence is non-verbal.

OUR PROBLEM: WE UNDERVALUE CLARITY

Our Problem: We Undervalue Clarity

Clarity is the essence of being.
The definition of the word ‘clarity’ is divine splendour; it’s that important.

We ignore the moment of clarity every time we become interested in someone, some thing or some words.

Clarity is clear seeing – the first moment of pure perception, pure awareness, pure consciousness.

The constant realisation of this is enlightenment; it’s that important.

Although we use the word ‘see’, we actually mean the moment the senses are perceived in the mind, and witnessed by consciousness. To truly experience that we are consciousness rather than merely acting out words, all pretence is dropped and we realise that consciousness is pure, empty of all contaminants.

When coming out of a dark place (whether a darkened room or a darkened mind) and into the light, perception is extremely simple, powerful and immediate … a wonder, a splendour. Oh! As it’s immediate, it is pure, empty of contaminating thoughts of identifying and naming. Clarity is staying in wonder, in amazement. It’s the moment of “What is that?” before “Oh, it’s that!” It’s an extremely subtle, timeless moment.

Looking or sounding clever is like being a vicar, a substitute. The word ‘vicariously’ means to copy, as we become dependent on others and their beliefs, with our view of life being downgraded through social engineering, social pressure, social ignorance.

When we look for the ultimate truth, we miss the whole point by looking for some idea of divine splendour when it has been simple clarity of mind all along. Clarity of mind is pure consciousness. It is divine, pure, godlike, supreme being.

It isn’t out there.
It’s right here,
right now.

IS THE UNIVERSE A GOOD PLACE?

Is The Universe A Good Place?

Our answer to this question will depend on how we see life. Is the universe is one of benevolence, malevolence or confusion? It’s all in the mind 🙂

Once we stop thinking that we don’t know and realise that we do know, then there is no more confusion or hostility towards others – and no more surprises.

Whether we see the universe as pleasant or unpleasant,
it is the seeing which is the goal.

This is the ultimate truth we seek;
pure seeing is the clarity which is divine splendour.
It is that which we misunderstand.

In the moment of just seeing, there are no complaints.
This behaviour starts the elimination of all karma,
and the path that leads to enlightenment.

ONE CONSCIOUSNESS OR INDIVIDUAL CONSCIOUSNESSES?

One Consciousness Or Individual Consciousnesses?

Are we only one pure consciousness?
Or are we individual pure consciousnesses?

We all express experiences differently, but in the essence of silent, pure, non-dual consciousness, there is only unity. There isn’t even the words ‘God’ or ‘Buddha’ or ‘Brahman’ …

As ordinary beings (not knowing our true reality) we are just consciousness, pootling around sniffing this and that, and arguing.

As enlightened beings, we realise that we are pure consciousness, no longer pootling around, but knowing what we are and why we are here.

Has pure consciousness been hijacked to deceive people into believing in a ‘deity’ up there, when it has always been what we are?

If we allow ourselves to be separated by beliefs, we become convoluted in expression, and fear one another. Being divided, we are conquered. By whom? By that which wants obedience and servitude.

Belief is the opposite to knowing.
Belief in an external deity denies the truth within.

Good and evil are, in fact, a unity. By virtue of one, the other is known. The mirror and its reflection. The mirror is pure consciousness, and the reflections are ordinary consciousness clinging to ideas – that is ego. We are the mirror; it is the reflections of ideas that separate us. Belief is evil’s device.

What matters is what we all have in common. This is not words or names, but silent personal realisation – the appreciation of recognition, before all the words and names which divide us.

Goodness matters.
Goodness is clear seeing – divine splendour – beyond this and that.

The infinite universe is full of infinite sentient beings – the number just on Earth is incalculable. The amount passing from one form to another is even more so … ‘lots’! The universe is therefore full of consciousness.

Pure consciousness is perfect, pure compassion;
it is undivided and indivisible.

WE ARE DRIP-FED STORIES AND NUDGED INTO COMPLIANCE

We Are Drip-Fed Stories And Nudged Into Compliance

Ideas are fed to us drop by drop, in gradual small amounts.

From The Daily Sceptic:
https://dailysceptic.org/2023/12/15/the-tyranny-of-nudge/

“We now have a homogenous batch of political parties all broadly following the same agenda, an agenda seemingly set largely by global elites who operate outside of any democratic system. And behavioural scientists – commonly referred to as ‘nudgers’ – play a pivotal role in levering the compliance of the masses with this top-down authoritarian mission.

“By means of their (often covert) deployment of psychological strategies that weaponise fear, shame and scapegoating, they facilitate the control of ordinary people. And to perform this essential role requires a huge resource of behavioural science expertise. Consequently, nudgers are everywhere.

“… In 2010, the Behavioural Insight Team (BIT) was conceived in the Prime Minister’s Office of David Cameron as ‘the world’s first Government institution dedicated to the application of behavioural science to policy’ …”

If we don’t know what is going on,
we will not recognise that our life is not our own.

There is the mainstream biased media, the alternative biased media, and the controlled, alternative, very biased media that only looks alternative. None have a complete story. There are behavioural science policies everywhere.

Different types of people are led to believe in policies suited for them. Be very careful what you believe. In fact, don’t believe anything: know that everything can be manipulated.

It’s all about diverting pure consciousness.
The only reality we can trust is awareness of causes and effects.

MEDITATION MATTERS

Meditation Matters

Meditation is being aware of awareness, realising we are this awareness.
It is just a moment that can be extended.

Meditation uncovers natural inner peace,
free from anxiety, obsessiveness and vacancy – the three poisons that affect our lives.

Meditation is the method.
Once we realise we are awareness, we drop the meditation and rest in composure.
That is the moment of pure awareness – non-duality.

It is only through meditation that we can truly understand compassion for all.

WHY DO WE FIND COMMUNICATION SO DIFFICULT?

Why Do We Find Communication So Difficult?

Communication … “Ay, there’s the rub!” – the friction.

It is because we lack confidence in our true reality that we hibernate in a mind of dreams/memories, waiting for the awakening. We are what is called ‘consciousness’. The truth is that consciousness is always awake, but clings to ideas that isolate us. It is because of this feeling of isolation that we feel vulnerable and so we protect ourselves by avoiding communicating in a meaningful way.

We start our path – the ‘awakening’ – when we admit that we feel uncomfortable, and are suffering. I feel uncomfortable because I was always being told off, so a lack of confidence has travelled with me throughout life … until I realised that everyone else was covering up their insecurities too. That’s how empathy and confidence start.

Instead of rubbing one another up the wrong way,
we should be rubbing shoulders
– talking with someone in a meaningful way.

True communication is a transmission of consciousness;
it’s the moment when we brighten up.

SELF: A WORK OF FICTION

Self: A Work Of Fiction

In our mind, we build up a picture of our self. This picture is usually created by a social I, a reflection of others’ responses to us – “Good boy” “Bad boy” etc. 🙂 We are only ‘good’ if we do and say what others want us to do and say to fit in with their self picture. It’s possible to fall out with others pretty quickly if we don’t go along with their views.

We (consciousness) can, however, work quite happily with this fictitious self – this obstinate programming – because it teaches us where we go wrong immediately through a feeling of being uncomfortable.

We needn’t feel guilty about this as it’s happening to everyone, including the ‘good boys’. Some people seem to have a charmed life, but look closely – it’s high maintenance.

The essence of mind is pure consciousness.
The content of mind is pure fiction.

= Heaven and Hell.

FEAR CONTROLS THE MIND

Fear Controls The Mind

The lockdowns proved how quickly the whole world could be put into fear, and make people turn on each other. People accepted loss of freedom against their better judgement, and regular everyday life was criminalised.

Fear of something – or others – has been the tool to rule the mind for millennia. Mind control through distraction interferes with consciousness; our thoughts become others’ thoughts, which affects our behaviour.

We can take back control by not following thoughts immediately as they arise, but remaining in neutral for a moment, so as not to just react. In this way, we regain our freedom, and control our mind and therefore our behaviour.

Fear comes from being primed through words, without us noticing. Always look for the tell-tale signs of adverbs and adjectives – modifiers – and then there are no surprises, unlike officialdom who is always ‘surprised’. 🙂

Be mindful that, in the age of conflict, we learn to fear one another.

CONTROLLING OUR MIND

Controlling Our Mind

Our minds are cluttered with memories which we are, unfortunately, proud of, equating an efficient memory with intelligence. All we are actually doing is repeating words, which may not be relevant to a situation.

Intelligence is an ability to understand and apply knowledge relevant to a situation. For that, we need a clear mind, or it will simply regurgitate memories which limit understanding and application.

When we stop following thoughts and treat them like guests at the door, letting them pass through but not following them, they leave us alone – and we leave them alone.

If we cannot control our mind,
then thoughts and emotions are doing that for us.

WHAT CREATED CONSCIOUSNESS?

What Created Consciousness?

Some say that God created consciousness.
Some say that it comes from millions of years of evolution.
Some say consciousness just is.

The important point is that we all know we are here now. We are agreed on that?

Do you realise what you have just agreed to?
We all know.
It just is. It never changes. It’s what we are.
We aren’t different in that knowingness.

Consciousness must not be confused with thoughts, as thoughts are impermanent and changeable. Some say that consciousness enters the body at conception, commensurate with its measure of motivation.

We are universal beings with short memories, but there is an ‘atmosphere’ about us; this is clear in everyone we meet – there’s a stuffed atmosphere. 🙂

Consciousness is beyond religion and science.
This becomes clear in meditation
the moment when we drop the meditation
and realise that pure consciousness is perfect contentment.

If we don’t truly appreciate this, we will continue to argue.

THAT NAGGING DOUBT

That Nagging Doubt

All through life, there is a nagging doubt – “Is this it or isn’t it?”

When it comes to conscious awareness, religions make a big deal about it which can confusion, and this can actually become a disturbance in the mind with the exaggerated rituals and performances.

Pure conscious awareness is without any doubt, but still there may be uncertainty precisely because of all those added ‘bonuses’ that seem to become an attraction, and which we think are extra special. 🙂

Does religion give conscious awareness some additional authority because of the splendid uniforms and buildings? Is it fear that keeps us bound?

Authenticity comes from the actual practice of meditation itself,
so the Buddha said.

Once we experience and realise pure consciousness, there is nothing else except exhausting our karmic propensities – the behaviour that binds us.

We will have doubts up until the moment of enlightenment. It is those very doubts that help us traverse the levels as we look more closely, rather than treading water to maintain our status, which expends effort but doesn’t make much progress toward a goal.

The goal is genuine, compassionate understanding,
rather than splendid buildings.

Authenticity comes from the actual practice of meditation itself.

When we know that we know,
the nagging-ness is merely being open,
at peace with the residue of doubt.

THE TEACHER SHOULD ALSO BE TESTED

The Teacher Should Also Be Tested

If the teaching should be tested, so should the teacher.

When the Buddha said, “Do not take my word for the truth: test it for yourselves”, he meant don’t just trust my words – or me, for that matter. Taking someone’s word is merely repeating hearsay that can be altered to build a reputation, and an expensive and elaborate religious culture.

When we test the Dharma, we’re actually testing our self. The Dharma is about what we are, rather than about wonders of the world.

The Dharma isn’t a singalong; it is the ultimate meaning of life. It’s not something to learn, and then argue about. When we know what we are, this results in understanding others through dynamic, empathetic compassion, without a sense of entitlement.

The only reason to trust a teacher is if they are truly helpful, so that we can go away and exhaust all our karmic display with confidence. They are not to be used as a sticking plaster – a temporary or

inadequate solution to a problem.

When we fawn over a guru, we have fallen a long way down the rabbit hole into Wonderland, a fictitious country created by Lewis Carol. When we live in a world of ideas – others’ ideas – we live in the same illusory world.

WHAT’S THE POINT OF SPIRITUAL PRACTICE?

What’s The Point Of Spiritual Practice?

What’s the point of spiritual practice if we only have one life?

There isn’t, unless we come, through practice, to realise the possibility that consciousness is beyond everyday human experience. There are two types of people on Earth; those who believe there is no afterlife, and those who believe there is.

The obvious problem here is – belief.

There’s no point in believing one way or another, but there is a persistent feeling – an embryonic, incompleteness – of wanting to know. But know what?

This ‘me’ we walk around in isn’t satisfying at all. Most of us cannot deal with reality so we acquire an act. It’s an unconscious act, an avatar, a manifestation of an idea.

Some acts lack confidence; they doubt, and don’t believe in themselves.
Some acts believe in themselves totally; they feel entitled and empowered.
Some acts dither; am I, am I not?

The world is skew-whiff – not straightforward. Avatars are everywhere, covering up something. If there is life after death, then what we do now has consequences. Likewise, what we have done in our past will dictate the sort of life we encounter.

Spirituality is merely a word for consciousness which, through practice, is realised as pure. In ordinary practical terms, it’s clear seeing without bias. Without bias, there is no room for unhappiness.

YOU’VE HEARD IT ALL BEFORE – LET GO

You’ve Heard It All Before – Let Go

Let go, let go, let go …
If we hold on to any idea, we suffer.

As we get older, we realise that we’ve heard it all before. Life on earth isn’t going to change any time soon, and will probably seem worse before it gets better, but it is getting better – the pure natural laws* will see to that for those who seek.

All the immorality, angst, corruption, manipulation, plotting that humans engage in … just let it go. We’re not saviours; we have to get our mind in order, and away from disorder.

Our self is a juvenile-mixed-up-mind,
but that’s not what we are.

We’ve made a huge mistake –
it’s time to be at peace with our self.

Realising that human nature has been corrupted, we seek the truth of our reality, which is pure natural law and compassion for all, as people know not what they do. In our final days, we won’t be worrying about the plotters; they will realise their huge mistake in their own karmic time 🙂

Let it all go and be at peace
– or, at least, don’t become another plotter of illusions. 🙂

*Pure natural law: uncontaminated emptiness, cognisance and compassion = pure consciousness. When we ignore this pure natural law of being, we fall under the gross laws that reify us (make seemingly real) by being governed by desire, aversion and ignorance.

Through desire, our minds become contaminated.
Through contamination, we acquire aversion.
Through aversion, we lack compassion.
Through ignorance of our true reality, we become clingers.

Let it all go, and return to sanity.

IN TWO MINDS

In Two Minds

We have two choices.
It’s one or the other:

Others control our mind.
We control our mind.

1. Mind control – also known as brainwashing, coercive persuasion or thought control – refers to controlling the beliefs, behaviours and values of others.

2. Mind control is meditation, where we clear the mind of mind controls.

1. When we accept a proposition without proof, belief is mind control. It’s just a seemingly-plausible story which have continued to believe for thousands of years. It’s that mind-boggling.

2. For thousands of years, people have meditated to clear the mind of stories and to realise their reality – their true essence of pure consciousness. It’s mind-sweeping.

We are doing one or the other.

We can’t assume we know;
we have to know.

Mind can either be reactive and confused,
or recognise lucid, bright luminosity of clarity, free of confusion.
